Alabama linebacker Rebuen Foster is considered to be one of the top defensive players in the upcoming NFL Draft. Thursday, Foster told NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport that his urine sample from the NFL Scouting Combine came back as diluted.
“This is something that’s going to get out,” Foster said Thursday. “I don’t make excuses. I’m a real dude. I try to be a good person. … I just hope the coaches understand and that’s all I can hope and pray for.”
Diluted urine samples are treated as positive tests in the leagues policy and program for substances of abuse, and Foster will be subject to any punishment handed down from the NFL’s Front Office.
