The Chicago Bear’s terrible season just may have gotten worse as they will be without the services of wide receiver Alshon Jeffery for the next four games.
The Bears, who suffered an embarrassing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, decided to slap the franchise tag on Jeffery this past off season. Now, instead of catching contested jump balls, Jefferey will take his $14.6 million dollar contract to the bench until week 14 due to a positive PED test.
Jeffery was look at as a top wide receiver in fantasy this year, but has severely struggled due to terrible quarterback play. At this point, there is not much going right for the Bears and it may be time to start considering where they would like to draft come April of next year.
