| Sacramento Kings @ Atlanta Hawks
Vegas: ATL -7.0 / Over-Under: 201.5
Before the season began, I admittedly underestimated the Kings. A change in coaching has brought a complete change in play style. So far the Kings record is 2-1, and even in a loss to the Spurs, they look quite good. Tonight they head to Atlanta, who is a very good team and even better at home. With the lowest total pace of the game of the night it’s going to be hard to target players in this game. The best matchup on the floor to watch will be Demarcus Cousins taking his best efforts into the house of pain Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap have quickly established. All three are in play tonight. As well as my favorite rookie Malcolm Delaney, who is still minimum priced and has scored 20 plus and near 20 in two of his first three games. Also, Matt Barnes is a viable option for tonight as well. Just keep in mind that this game could be closer than Vegas thinks, and that the total could end up higher than projected. It would be a solid contrarian strategy to get some big names in this game.
| Denver Nuggets @ Toronto Raptors
Vegas: TOR -7.0 / Over-Under: 204.0
Tonight’s the night I may roll out the Jurkic stack. Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic are good. I’ll tell anyone straight up that they will be the best frontcourt in the NBA in less than 3 years. This game will be an entertaining one. I think DeMar DeRozan is too good to not have on our radars tonight. Outside of DeRozan, I’m really liking the value provided by Demarre Carroll and Terrence Ross for the Raptors. Outside of Jurkic on the Nuggets, I’d look at Kenneth Faried. If Darrell Arthur plays, it’ll be interesting to see how Mike Malone manages his bigs. Honestly, I think it just boosts Emmanuel Mudiay. Do I suggest Mudiay? Only if he fits. He’s shown flashes in his rookie campaign but he continues to struggle with ball control; however, as long as Gary Harris is still out, Mudiay (as well as Barton and Wilson chandler) will continue seeing extended run.
| Chicago Bulls @ Brooklyn Nets
Vegas: CHI -6.0 / Over-Under: 212.0
The number one offense in the NBA is heading to the Barclays Arena tonight in what should be a fantastic game. With the closest spread of the night, and the fastest pace of play of the night, this game will be the goldmine of the night. For the bulls, Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, and Mirotic are all in play. Also, Doug McDermott. I know that’s a lot, but this game is going to be very offense-friendly. If I had to pick elite options from the Bulls, I’d go Rondo, Butler, Mirotic. As for the Nets, kinda like the Kings, they’re playing really good basketball despite last season’s results. I think the best story for them is the consistency they’ve seen from Jeremy Lin. The guy is lights out right now and I’m going to have him tonight. Outside of Lin, Trevor Booker and Bojan Bogdanovic are good players to target. Trevor Booker Is priced at $4.7K on Dk and Bogdanovic $4.6K. I’m projecting Booker to 28 fantasy points tonight and Bogdanovic to hit 33. I’d like to have as much of this game as I can tonight, plain and simple
| Phoenix Suns @ L.A. Clippers
Vegas: LAC -10.5 / Over-Under: 206.0
Phoenix came out last night and played the Warriors very well last night. The question is, can they do the same thing to the much improved L.A. Clippers team. TJ Warren played out of his mind, Devin Booker is dealing with a toe injury, and Tyson Chandler, Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe had success last night. I’d wait for lineup and injury News before pulling triggers on anyone in this game on the Sun’s outside of Knight or Bledsoe because the veterans might not play as much. For the Clippers, Lob City is back. Blake Griffin is doing amazing things once again as well as CP3. I have both going for 50 DKpts tonight and really killing the Suns. You could argue Crawford, Jordan or rivers being good picks as well; However, this is only true if Booker, Chandler and Dudley rest. If that’s the case, I think Austin Rivers gets good run and Jamal Crawford always gets his when he gets minutes.
