France vs. Iceland

The underdogs have been the talk of the tournament this year in France. Iceland is another one of those underdogs that fought against some of the big names to get to where they are.

France comes into this game, with a solid record so far, but if you have been watching the games you can tell France still has not played its best soccer. France is still one of the favorites to win this tournament and I don’t see that changing anytime soon; especially against Iceland. From my opinion, France has gotten better and looked more dominating each game they have played. Iceland had a big win against an English team that has felt the pressure all tournament to prove themselves to their fans that they can be the dominant international team everyone saw in qualifiers. Sure enough, another tournament goes by and that is not the case. Iceland took it to England and Iceland made the big upset with it.

There have been a ton of upsets this year in the UEFA Euro, but I don’t see France’s road to the championship stopping here against Iceland. I think France will firmly defeat Iceland 3-0 and solidify why they are one of the favorites to win this tournament.
